Long An province is a gateway that connects Ho Chi Minh City - the country’s largest economic center, to the southwestern provinces. Long An has great potential for tourism development.

Long An offers many attractive and diverse tourism activities such as rivers and gardens, discovery tourism, ecotourism, cultural tourism and culinary tourism which are loved by domestic and foreign tourists. Currently, Long An is making the most of short-term tours with departures from HCM City.

Another well-known destination is Phuoc Loc Tho Ancient Village (in Huu Thanh commune, Duc Hoa district). The whole area consists of 5 hectares, which have 22 ancient houses and thousands of antiquities. The eco-tourism area “Canh dong bat tan" (Endless field) in Moc Hoa district has a number of services such as learning about medicinal herbs, a sauna, soaking in medicinal herbs for relaxation and health care, see the thousands of primeval melaleuca forests, visit the medicinal production process, see birds, animals, and medicinal plants.
Another tourist place in Long An to explore is Tan An, the capital of this province. Only 47km from HCM City, visitors can travel to Tan An using many different means of transport. Many cultural discoveries in Tan An include the ancient Thien Phuoc Pagoda, Long An Provincial Museum, Long An Monument Park, and the Mausoleum of Nguyen Huynh Duc.

In addition, a number of new private tourist attractions in Long An are the Southern Land Organic Farm (Tan An City), the 7 Wonders of the World Park (Duc Hoa), and Happyland (Ben Luc). Stimulating demand and promoting the potential and advantages of tourism, while ensuring suitability and adaptation to the current COVID-19 situation is what Long An needs to focus on while developing tourism.
