On May 16, Long An Provincial Party Committee held a conference to inform about the socio-economic situation and the arrangement of administrative units at commune and provincial levels for retired leaders in the province.

However, in order for the project to be truly effective, the delegates also raised many issues that require special attention and specific solutions.
Notably, the delegates highly appreciated that Long An is one of the 10 provinces that completed the project on arranging administrative units at commune and provincial levels early and with quality, which was highly appreciated by the Central Government.
Regarding the target of achieving double-digit economic growth this year, the Provincial Party Secretary also pointed out specific solutions. The province will proactively review the Provincial Master Plan to ensure suitability immediately after the merger.
At the same time, the province continues to review and allocate public investment capital closely and accelerate disbursement progress, in parallel with promoting compensation and site clearance, creating all favorable conditions to call for and attract investment.
In particular, Long An continues to closely coordinate with localities, ministries and central branches to soon complete regional and inter-regional transport projects.
